A thank you letter
Dear Parents, Families, and Members of our School Community,
On behalf of the St. Mark’s Parents Association, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, supported, and purchased raffle tickets for our Family Quiz & Raffle Night on Friday evening.
The event was a tremendous success and, thanks to your generosity and participation, a fantastic fundraising achievement for our school. Just as importantly, it was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, community spirit, and plenty of fun (and friendly competition!).
A very special thank you to Mr. Dignam and Ms. O’Brien for hosting the event so brilliantly. Ms O’Brien’s enthusiasm, humour, and skilful moderation, along with Mr Dignam keeping the scores perfectly up to date, ensured the night ran seamlessly and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We would also like to recognise the incredible work of the Parents Association Committee in organising such a successful fundraising event: Joe Bergin (Chair), Ruth Farrell (Treasurer), Mal Convery (Secretary), Elaine Kelly, Karen Bolger, Laura O'Donovan, Una Byrne, Cora McNamara, Carol Griffiths, and Alexandre Auzon. Your time, energy, and dedication made the evening possible.
A sincere thank you as well to all the students who helped on the night, assisting with collecting answer sheets, supporting the smooth running of the quiz, and drawing our raffle prize winners. Your contribution was invaluable.
Finally, thank you once again to all the families who attended, bought raffle tickets, and supported the event so generously. Your involvement not only made the night so enjoyable but also helped raise important funds to support our school community.
All parents are very welcome to get involved with the Parents Association. If you would like to join us, our next meeting will take place on Wednesday, 27th May at 8:00pm. We’d be delighted to see you there.
