Duck Race 2026

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As the better weather is starting to roll in, we are looking forward to getting started with our annual fundraiser, the St Marks Duck Race, which is held during Junefest. The race will be on Saturday 30th May, at approximately 12pm, but this time is subject to change by the organisers of Junefest.

We will be sending home duck race cards with students over the course of this week and we ask that these are returned by Friday, 8th May. Whether the cards are completed or not, it is important that we get the cards back so that we can then sell any lines from partially filled cards.

The cost of each line is €5 and this line number correlates to a number on one of the ducks that will be released from linear park. The prizes for the first 10 ducks to cross the line are-

As usual, there will be a musical performance from some of our senior drummers in association with Music Generation on the day, and this will be timed for the start of race.
